Cromer

A very confiding young Caspian Gull at Cromer today.

Saw it yesterday, late afternoon on the Groynes to the East of the pier. An adult was also present.

Went back today for some photographs. No sign early in the morning at a similar state of the tide. Very windy this morning.

Better luck later in the day. Down by the groynes the sun is lost at this time of the day but just a little further out the sun escapes over the top of town.

No sign of the adult today.

It's taken two years to finally be able to recognise these birds since reading about them being at the pier in the autumn / winter.

An interesting article from Bird Guides about summer Caspian Gulls
